Sam joined Dell Technologies as head of Telco for Asia Pacific & Japan region in February 2021. Prior to DT, Sam was APAC region head for Mavenir Systems between 2019 & 2020. 

 

Sam was Senior Advisor at Ericsson Market Area SE Asia, Oceania & India based in Sydney between July & December 2017. Prior to this role, Sam was President of Ericsson Region Southeast Asia & Oceania between July 2014 & July 2017 based in Singapore. Sam was President Director of Ericsson Indonesia from early 2012 through June 2014 following a two-year tenure as CEO of Ericsson Australia & New Zealand; he was the Telstra account director at Ericsson Australia between 2007 & 2009.

 

During his 23 years with the Ericsson Group, Sam held a variety of senior Sales & Operations roles in SE Asia, Australia & the Middle East. Prior to Ericsson, Sam spent several years in the US in the nuclear power construction industry working as a structural engineer in the construction of several nuclear power plants across the US.

Sam graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1982 with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering & a master's degree in Civil Engineering in 1984. He completed post-graduate studies in Executive Business Management at Columbia University, New York in 2005 & the Executive Sales Management course at the Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania & at Cambridge University, UK in 2013; he also attended the Stanford Business School in California in October 2015.
